EsportsX, one of the biggest esports and gaming conferences in the Benelux, has awarded Triple venture Team Gullit with the ‘Most Innovative Marketing Case’ for their collaboration with Samsung. Together, they were praised for the in-game sponsorship and pop-up store in Utrecht Central Station.
Every year, over 500 stakeholders and marketeers from the esports and gaming industry come together at the EsportsX event to share their knowledge and talk about the newest trends. This is the first year EsportsX introduces the award show to the conference.
Partnership with Samsung
Samsung Galaxy, the telephone division of Samsung, became the official shirt sponsor of Team Gullit in October 2021. Since then, the two parties have organized several projects in and around FIFA, such as the shirt in FIFA 22 and the Samsung Galaxy Cup. One of the latest projects was the pop-up store, which was honored by EsportsX. In the week of April 5th, visitors of Utrecht Central station were able to participate in various gaming challenges in the Samsung Galaxy Gaming Experience.
World’s first independent FIFA academy
Triple launched Team Gullit in 2018 and The FIFA academy offers promising FIFA talents professional guidance and training. Besides, the academy guides talents in dealing with social media and building their personal brand.
